ANSI Class III: These garments are the largest of all the classes, providing additional arm coverage and overall protection to workers performing their tasks in areas of significantly low visibility (especially due to inclement weather) and oncoming traffic traveling at speeds exceeding 50 mph. There is at least 1,240 in. of safety orange or yellow fabric and 310 square-inches of reflective tape/striping.
